About

Here at The Deconverted Man, I write about practical ways for men to approach life after leaving their fundamentalist religion. I share my experiences and techniques so that other men can successfully navigate through the pain, trauma, and uncertainty of their own deconversion.

I was a Christian for most of my life. Then, after a strong resolution to finally read and study the Bible in its entirety, I found that I no longer believed the claims it made.

What came next was years of trying to learn how to live a completely different life in a world I’d always been taught to condemn.

Through tons of trial and error (usually error) I finally refined myself into the ideal version of myself that I always knew I was meant to be. It’s still an ongoing journey, and I’d like to invite you along.

To get started on this journey with me, I recommend you begin with my blog. I post new articles every Monday and Thursday. Topics include practical and actionable methods to building your ideal life post deconversion, analyses of Christian and church culture, and encouragement to men who are newly deconverted or doubting their faith.

To learn more about this faster, you can pick up my book, which goes into great detail about rebuilding a stable, autonomous, and honest life after leaving fundamentalist religion.

You’ve spent a large amount of time in the church. Now you’re ready for your new life to begin. You don’t have to do it alone. Join me on this journey toward true meaning and freedom and learn what it’s like to live the rewarding life of a Deconverted Man.
